Hospitality Index'
Microtel Inn & Suites – the chain of all newly-constructed, interior
corridor economy/limited service hotels – has won top honors in

class by the Market Metrix Hospitality Index™ (MMHI) for the first
quarter of 2008. With an 81.9 customer satisfaction score, Microtel
surpassed 12 other hotel chains and outperformed the economy segment
average of 77.1.

airline and car rental companies based on 35,000 in-depth consumer
interviews.
“We are proud that Microtel continues to be recognized for
delivering excellence in customer satisfaction,” said Roy E. Flora,
Chief Operating Officer of US Franchise Systems, Inc., (USFS),
parent company of the franchisor of the Microtel hotel brand. “We
thank our employees and franchisees who provide quality,
price-valued accommodations and service every day, and our customers
who have once again affirmed Microtel is the best in its class.

hotel industry to have received this recognition six successive
times.
Microtel Inns & Suites scored

competitors in six out of seven key guest satisfaction measures
including reservation, check-in/check-out, guestroom, hotel

“We are extremely honored to
receive this recognition for the sixth consecutive year,” said Roy

“This recognition emphasizes the importance of consistently
delivering the highest quality product, service and value to our

the enthusiasm and dedication of their hotel team members, without
whom we could not have achieved this recognition.”
Flora continued, “As a result of
listening to our guests, and to further enhance their overall
experience, within the next two months all Microtel hotels will be
offering a stylish new bedding initiative known as ‘Dream Well’.”
Dream Well beds include a plush pillow-top mattress or topper and
